The Hyundai and Golden Futsal Challenge 2026, regarded as the most prestigious futsal tournament in the Maldives, continued with M. Atoll round matches producing mixed results.
Dhiggaru and Maduvvari kept their qualification hopes alive after defeating Muli and Nalaafushi in the atoll round. Five teams from M. Atoll are competing in this year’s tournament.
Defending champions Mulah had a difficult start to the season, losing their opening match to Dhiggaru. However, they secured their first three points with a 2–1 victory over Nalaafushi. Mohamed Aiham and Tholhath Mohamed scored for Mulah, while Mohamed Fazeel netted the lone goal for Nalaafushi.
The match between Dhiggaru and Maduvvari ended in a goalless draw. After two matches each, both Dhiggaru and Maduvvari have recorded one win and one draw, giving them four points apiece.
