Health Minister Abdullah Nazim has stated that there will now be no obstacles for medical students to obtain internship opportunities.

Speaking on an Aslu TV program, Minister Nazim said that at the beginning of this government's term, they received many complaints about the challenges faced by students studying medicine abroad in obtaining internships, and some students even met and shared these concerns.

The Minister said that the government has now secured internship opportunities for Maldivian students at five additional universities in Bangladesh.

"In addition, internships can now be completed at Addu Equatorial Hospital and Hulhumalé Hospital in the Maldives," the Minister said.

The Minister said that priority for internship opportunities in the Maldives will be given to students studying medicine at the Maldives National University.

The Minister further stated that no student should have any concerns about internships now.
