The practical work for the new hospital in HDh. Hanimaadhoo has begun.

The work was inaugurated in a ceremony held in Hanimaadhoo today by Health Minister Ibrahim Nazim,im, Road Development Corporation (RDC) Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem, and Hanimaadhoo Council President Abdussattar Hassan, during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's ongoing trip to the inhabited islands of HDh. Atoll.

Meeting with the people of Hanimaadhoo last night, the President said that when the 30-bed hospital being developed in Hanimaadhoo is completed, the island's health sector services will be strengthened. He also said that work is being done to expand the services of the existing health center.

The President said that before the end of this year, arrangements will be made to provide dialysis services, a pediatric specialist, and a gynecologist at the Hanimaadhoo Health Center.

As the government is working on strengthening the country's health system, work is ongoing to build new hospitals and upgrade health centers.
