Dialysis service has been officially launched at B. Dharavandhoo Health Center.
The service was officially inaugurated by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim at a ceremony held yesterday.
The dialysis service at Dharavandhoo Health Center has been started with a two-bed unit. The ministry also said that with this service, a specialist in internal medicine will now be working at the health center.
The most recent launch of dialysis service was in HA. Ihavandhoo. The atolls where the service has not yet been started are ADh, V, M, F, and Dh atolls.
The government's goal is to make dialysis service available in all atolls of the Maldives within this term.
